While reading Keith Devens blog I found a post on the wiki about a site called friendster. If I understand it correctly you join and then invite all your friends to join and they invite all their friends to join and so on and so forth. The end result being a web of people who you don’t know but get to meet since they’re your best friend’s girlfriend’s brother’s dog’s vet or something.
Of course I went ahead and joined. Not that it did me any good, since I don’t have any friends to invite, but I did it anyway.
If you happen to be a member of friendster, feel free to add me to your list. I’m desperate for human companionship… just not desperate enough to actually shut off my computer and leave the house.
