Well, after nearly 15 months as a police officer I finally broke down and asked another officer to pull a ticket for me. I really didn’t want to do it, but it was for a friend spouse of a friend so I did it. Really wasn’t a big deal, just a citation for his window tint being too dark. But when I was talking with my friend a couple things were said that really hit me as annoying.
And I had a couple paragraphs poking fun at some of the things my friend said that I felt were funny (and annoying, in a way). That was 2005-07-19. Then, on 2005-08-09, a series of emails were exchanged with my friend and I learned that some people just don’t take well to be made fun of. And thus I shall censor my own work and pull this anecdote. No worries though, I deal with plenty of people every day that do things worthy of poking fun at.
