Once again I’ve grown tired of the look of my blog and had to revamp it. Unfortunately it took me almost a week this time around. At one point I thought I was finished but I had forgotten to check the site in IE. When I did, I discovered that my div’s were overlapping making my site look like garbage.
Today I came across an article on the Learning Movable Type blog on how to create a 3-Column Layout in MT3.2 using the default templates and style sheet.
The article provided me with enough info to strike my fancy. The article also mentioned a possible four column layout which I’ve attempted in the past to no success. I reverted my site back to the default styles and started over. I will never understand by sixapart felt the default style sheet needed to be so cumbersome. I deleted a couple hundred lines from the style sheet and attempted to re-organize it a bit. It’s still a mess, albeit a smaller one.
I must say that I’m pretty happy with the end result. Post a comment and let me know what you think.
