I hope everyone had a good Christmas. We spent the day with my wife’s grandparents. We took a lot of photos but the camera we were using wasn’t the greatest. Here’s a few that did come out.

I don’t know what it is about this season, but it seems we have a homicide in town every year between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Christmas Eve I get a call to come into work early due to a shooting. I suit up and get to town and find everyone gathered around a parking lot next to the local KFC. It seems that there was this fellow who couldn’t get over his ex girlfriend and insisted on trying to run off whoever tried to date her. Well, this fellow messed with the wrong guy this time around. As stupid as the whole thing was though, I feel bad for the families. One family lost a loved one on Christmas Eve, the other family lost access to a loved one Christmas day when officers caught up with him.
It’s a crazy world.
