I know it really doesn’t take much to amuse me, but this really got me excited. Back in 1997 I ran a website on GeoCities under the handle, CyberChristian. I was thrilled to get five or six people a month on that website. I just checked my server logs for 2005 and this blog received over 27,000 unique visitors last year! And my mortgage website racked up nearly 90K visits last year. I know some of you reading this run blogs that get that sort of traffic every month, but for me, that’s huge.
Anyway, here’s a break down of unique visitors per month, per site… for anyone who’s interested.
I had to format this a little goofy to keep it from running off the edge of the page. In the table below:
w = weissblog.com | m = mortageknowledgebase.com |
p = preferredlendingnetwork.com
| W | M | P | |
| Jan | 19 | 3,563 | 197 |
| Feb | 877 | 3,671 | 222 |
| Mar | 791 | 4,839 | 113 |
| Apr | 1,408 | 7,220 | 120 |
| May | 1,068 | 7,794 | 123 |
| Jun | 1,124 | 6,594 | 117 |
| Jul | 2,381 | 8,851 | 188 |
| Aug | 2,092 | 9,159 | 135 |
| Sep | 4,044 | 8,082 | 122 |
| Oct | 4,606 | 9,951 | 281 |
| Nov | 5,043 | 9,746 | 358 |
| Dec | 4,148 | 8,312 | 379 |
| Total | 27,601 | 87,782 | 2,355 |
For those wondering why I even bothered with the last one, I just thought it was cool that it gets over 100 visits a month with the only advertising being the search engines search engine listings from a site that went under three years ago. The increase in traffic on Oct, Nov, and Dec was from me placing links to it on both my blog and mortgage site.
