About three weeks or so ago I had received a call from a gentleman at AmeriBanc National Ltd. The guy was offering me a job. He said he had found my resume on monster.com and was interested in my background. I’m thinking, maybe he needs a website. I was wrong. He needed a salesman. I listened. I questioned. I researched it overnight and was prepared to take the job the next day. But, my wife advised against it.

One week goes by, no big deal. Two weeks go by and I start wishing I had taken the guy up on his offer. Nearly 3 weeks after our initial conversation I get another call. The guy flatters me and tells me how great I’d be and even tells me that he’s got two other people that could do the job but that he wants me. Do I buy it? No. But I did enjoy it.

So, same as before, I put him off and run it past my wife. This time, without hesitation, she tells me to take the job. So I did. And now I get to spend a couple days in Orlando next week at a training.
